Chevy you are just one gorgeous Rottie! It is hard to believe that you had such an awful start to life. Just look at you now - all loved and cared for and even coming to the rescue of your human! It is often said a rescue dog shows "a love like no other." You certainly prove this without a doubt. You love your family with all your heart and soul, and will put your own life on the line for their safety. You deserve to be loved and cherished as you obviously are by your wonderful people. Certainly you have made them very blessed, as they should be for rescuing you from your terrible life as a pup.

My KatMa and I cried and mewed so much reading your story! Thank goodness your fursons found you and rescued you from such a horrible excuse of a human being! My KatMa, if she ruled the world, would eliminate that human immediately for two reasons:

1) because of what he did to you
2) because who wants to let a person with such defective genes reproduce???? He doesn't deserve the gift of life because he did not respect your life.

Mew, mew, please tell your fursons that giving you love, a nice home, dignity and respect is what every person and animal needs to thrive and blossom. Of course you grew into such a wonderful dog! Rescued pets are the best pets and we reward our humans by being the best pet ever. Look at your most beautiful doggie smile! Lucky you, you have a sweet human baby to love...

Yeah for you, Chevy...chasing that stranger away from your human!! Your seem like one awesome dog...no other way to put it. I am so glad that your mom found you and was able to rescue you from the horrible life you started out in...thankfully, it was only for 8 months and look at you now!! I am sooo late:rolleyes: I'm sorry to have missed you on your big day, Chevy! What a beauty you are! A true heroin. I am so happy you found your forever home. Your mom loves you so much, I think you've found yourself the perfect family to love.

I have a rottweiler, too, that was rescued from a border line puppy mill. He spent the first four months of his life in a cage and could not even walk when we bought him. I normally would NOT buy a dog from a pet store, but Sampson was so skinny and so miserable we had to make an exception. I'm glad we did, I can't imagine life without him. Just as I'm sure Chevy's family could not imagine life with out her. Our pet's beginnings in life are not always ours to control, but having the opportunity to treasure them when we can is it's own reward, tenfold.
