Oh what a gorgeous and sweet budgie we have for pet of the day. It brought memories of my very first pet as a child, a beautiful bright yellow budgie whom I named Peepers. I still remember so clearly all the smiles and delight he brought me, and so I understand what a gift China must be to your life, especially during your darker times. Looking at her picture makes me just want to reach through the screen and give scratchies to that sweet little head.

Congratulations, sweet China. On this cold winter day, you bring a rainbow to your special human not only through your gorgeous feathers, but also with your beautiful personality. :)
