What an awful story! Am I mistaken (I sincerely hope so) or is the number of abuse/cruely to animals increasing?

The worst thing is when you don't even receive any help from the authorities. I will write, I don't know when my letter will reach South Carolina but it's certainly worth a try. Thanks for posting this.

that makes me so mad. I have a very soft spot for dobermans. How could someone do that to a dog not to mention a elderly dog. I don't even now what to say. I can't read these stories anymore, they're making me depressed

Makes me real ashamed to live in a state where things would be handled that way. I don't live in Lancaster, and I hope things would be different here. Some people just don't understand.
