Sydney got a home today!!!

I went to the Pet Expo in Novi with the Dearborn Animal Shelter today. We brought about 15 cats and 5 dogs.

I am happy to report that we adopted out 7 cats and 2 dogs today.

I am VERY happy to say that Sydney got a furrrever home today with a Russian woman and her son in the posh neighborhood of Farmington Hills, Michigan!!

I told the woman that if for any reason it doesn't work out, to call me and I would personally come and pick Sydney up. She was a sweet woman who wanted a lap cat. Because of all the barking, noise and people, Sydney was a little stressed out. But once you began petting her in the cage, she started to purr.

I have every confidence that she will be happy in her new home. My job is now done.
