They're ruining my presents!!!

I finished up my Christmas shopping today. I've been wrapping all day long because I want to get the presents out of here. (We are remodeling, so we don't have much room.) Ron and Raven are destroying my presents already! They are having a field day!

LOL.....I can SOOOOO relate! First I gave up on using bows........then I gave up on using ribbon.............now I simpoly just hide wrapped packages until the second they are to be opened. :rolleyes: :D

the destruction has followed path from your house to mine! I have a little guy with the look of "who, me? I did nuttin!"

Ahhh, but thats why we buy dollarstore paper, so the devastation isn't so bad. I'm waiting til the last minute to put the bows and other trinkets on top - can you imagine how nuts they'd go if they had that ON TOP of the fascinating present? :) :D

The only pesents that uor Dad buys are for us , so we are safe in sniffing and ripping open the stuff that he brings home,and he dosnt mind! We love our Dad!

I don't have gifts to wrap (yet), and somehow I'm looking forward to having two helpers this year. However, Mitzi slept quietly next to me yesterday afternoon while I addressed the Xmas cards. There's quite a pile and it took all afternoon, writing notes, putting on the to and from address labels and Xmas seals. Finally, I was done! Then Mitzi discovered the pile! She has a "thing" for anything that's flat - it just drives her nuts and she tries to pick the items up - cards, my mail, credit cards, magazine pages, etc. At first I thought it was cute, and then I realized that many of my cards now have a "Mitzi print" on them - shredded labels :rolleyes: but she looked so darn cute doing it, I couldn't get mad at her - sorry I didn't get any pics (dead batteries).

I remember the first Christmas after we got Jake - grrr. Or was it Pepper? Anyways somebody peed on the presents. That was not funny! ;)

Second...yea, we don't put bows or ribbon on until we are in the car, delievering our presents. Tape in hand, to tape whatever the cats decided to do to the packages. ;)
