I just read something that made me really mad! (and sad) I looked up parrotlets, and found Charlie, who has been abused in so many different ways in 6 six years by previous owners. It had missing toe parts, plucked feathers, and emotional stress as well. No pet deserves any of this, and I really wish I could do something to stop it. I'm currently looking for a bird to own, and was going to buy one from a breeder, but now I'm looking to get a rescued bird. Just a reminder- if you ever see ANY pet abuse, report it immediately, give animals a chance to have as great of a life as you would want.

Just something I wanted to say.

P.s. I have a 4 year old beagle/lab mix (we rescued) the cutest dog, I'll post pics, and a 12 year old cat, along with a 2 year old cat, and a 4-year old Parakeet. (wow! had no idea they could live so long! A lucky bird I guess!)

Good for you! Rescue is wonderful way to get a lovely pet, and save a life as well. If more people thought like you did, we have far fewer abused and neglect homeless pets. Keep up the good work, and keep spreading the message. :)
