Hiccups???

Do dogs get hiccups???

Because - it looks like Max has them! Actually it's like a backwards hiccup - like he's going "cupphi", "cupphi" - and his belly contracts each time.

Yes. Both of my dogs get them often.

Nala got hiccups alot when she was a puppy. She'd get scared when I put her down or strange people came to pet her.
She still does sometimes.

Prince and Chubby get the hiccups sometimes. Otis and Digger usually don't.:)

Katie gets them all the time! First I got scared because she was contracting her belly and making noises until I found out they were the hiccups!
