Well I finally got a picture of the cat from the Tramatic Night thread. This is Angel, the name her foster mom gave her, the kitten that was hit by the truck with a broken pelvis.

She is doing well. Her pelvis has healed real well but unfortunately her foster mom doesn't feel comfortable in letting her out of her cage. So I am trying REAL hard to find her a furever home. She is on the list for a no-kill shelter here but it is VERY slow going. She is just a sweet heart and she soooo deserves someone who will love her forever. It isn't toooo many cats that would trust a stranger to pick them up while in pain from a broken pelvis and not even make one attempt to bite or scratch me. This picture was taken only a couple of days after the truck hit her. It doesn't show up well in the photo but she has the most beautiful green eyes. Anyway.....here she is.....Angel.

Angel truly looks like an Angel. She's healed so very quickly. Kitty prayers going out that she finds a wonderful furrever home with loving guardian(s) soon. Meowrrrrr. purrrrrrrrr ;)

I am so glad to hear about Angel. I was wondering how she was. Looks as if she has only 8 lives left now ;)

Now we keep fingers and paws crossed for her to find her furrever home. :)

Oh I'm so glad to hear she has healed up well. She sounds like a real sweetheart and she is real pretty.

But why is the foster mom uncomfortable in letting her out of the cage????

Her foster mom is an older woman with a bad back and has had both her knees replaced. So she is concerned that Angel will get into something somewhere and she won't be able to get her out. She also has a 13 year old, 5 pound toy poodle that is frightened by Angel. So she is concerned about her poodle also. It has been an ideal situation while Angel needed to be in the cage but now that she really needs to be able to move about more so her muscles will heal I really need to find another situation for her. I am working at it but so far no takers.
