my mums birthday today......

Yep folks my mother turned 69 today, cannot think she is that age, as she is so good for her age, and after having such a rough year, I am just ever so thankful to have my mother still, having the cancer was a big scare, and I count my blessings she is still here to celebrate her day.

She is coming over today, I will give her her present, and we will just have some quality time together., just wanted to share, thanks for listening.:)

Thank you all for your kind words, Miss Meow, it was a beautiful day in Aotearoa too, lovely sunshine, started off real coolish, but splendid, mum and I went out to lunch and spent some time together, she gave me a hug and told me how good I am too her, so that really touched my heart, I cannot endow her with large expensive gifts, but I try in other ways if I can.

I let her know how glad I was that she was still here to celebrate her special day, as it was indeed a close call earlier this year.

I am just so blessed to still have both my parents with me, and I hope to for many years yet.:)
