Hey everyone, thanks to his GrandMeowmie Sirrahbed, Boomer now has his own window perch! It was supposed to be a Christmas gift, but that's a long way away!! Who could wait that long? not us! :D At the moment it isn't secured to the window sill, it is just laying snuggly between the desk and the window. Boomer was wary of it at first, but after spraying it with catnip and plopping him up there a few times, he now loves it! Boomer says "Thanks Grandmeowmie!!" and sends headbumpbies and snuggles across the ocean!

Boomer did look a little apprehensive at first. However, it also looks like he settled right in, and is now enjoying the gift from his GrandMeowmie.
Sirrahbed I would say that the present was a hit.:)
Missy, what is that mountain range in the distant in the shot out the window. If I didn't know that was Japan, I would swear that shot was out of an apartment in Boulder, CO. Well just a little outside of Boulder, but still.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what the mountain range is called. Shame on me! I know that I'm in a region called the Kanto Plains, and if the sun hadn't been quite so bright when I took the picture you would be able to see Mt Fuji just a tiny bit to the left.
Here's a pic I just took, It's getting dark out so it's not the best. Fujiyama is the big flat topped volcano towards the left of the picture. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid89/p67c9820be8a0d8f84932c65360c72d95/fa89f8c8.jpg

And it's a great view with Fuji-san:) I'm getting envious.

hehe, Boomer has not tried to get outside at all today.. though I'm starting to wish that he would at least have a go at it;) He's been laying on that hammock ALL DAY, he budged a time or two to allow me to feed him treats, but even then he always kept at least one paw planted on his new favorite bed. He usually comes and lies on my lap everytime that I get on the computer, but where is he now? curled up on his hammock, snug as a bug in a rug with all four paws tucked under his little body (how does he do that???) and the sweetest look of contentment on his face. I think I'm actually a little bit jealous that he likes that bed more than my lap:eek: lol I'll get over it eventually, and I know that eventually the novelty will wear off of his hammock and he'll come crawling back to me for snuggles:D :D thanks so much for this hammock Mom, he loves it!!

Boomer looks like he's in kitty heaven!
What a view! What's it like in Japan, by the way? Is your husband in the military? Is it really crowded? Tell us all about it!
