Last night I was playing with the E's and a toy that was a gift from AmberLee....a stick with a long fake fur tail on it and feathers at the end...(they love it!) But, being cats they have rather limited attention spans and tired of the game. I left the toy in the middle of the living room where we were playing...:o :o

At 3:00 in the morning Eddie was at the side of the bed doing his little "murp murp". Usually he does this to announce at what hour Basement Girl has arrived home (bit of a snitch   ) but she hadn't gone out.

Edwina and I peered over the side of the bed to see what the fuss....Eddie had brought the toy upstairs and wanted to play!

I let Edwina deal with it......;) :D

Oh Sara, do you ever get a full nights sleep?

Fister comes up in bed about 3-4 times during the night now, but at least he just walks arcoss John's chest a few times and leaves me alone. :) Fister does his racing around just after we go to sleep - and he also tells us that he's now done his business in the litter box. Then it's time to take the cardboard box apart. Can we get some peace and quiet, please!!

Give the E's a big kiss and scritchie anyway! :D

Silly Eddie. Halo does the same thing. She'll find her "strings" (long pole with shoe strings tied to it that she LUUUUUUVS) and drag them around the house in the middle of the night. She makes quite a racket when she tries to get through doors. I once found her sleeping on top of them up on her window ledge -- 4 feet of the ground. HOw she dragged them up, I'll never know.

3.00am? Eddie, remember that your humans need to work during the day, not sleep like cats!

Jasmine went ballistic at 4.00 this morning. I believe Pickles was in cahoots as well. Something worth ROWWWWWWWing about anyway

Eddie just figured that since you were not doing anything that he wanted to play. He just figured you all could take a nap later in the day.

Joey will meow when she brings us towels. Not just once, but all the way to the spot that she is going and then a few more times. This happens at all hours of the night. Luckly after the first couple of weeks I learned to sleep through it.:)

That's the best time for the kitties to play, between 2:00 & 3:00 in the morning. At least at my house it is.

Can we all say, "Sleep Deprived."

C & S....That's so funny.:)

Looks as if we are all used to kitties coming at 3 a.m. and wanting to play. Filou sticks his head in your face and walks all over you kneading bread just to tell you he is bored and would love a little entertainment:D

Juni used to do that to with her pin cushion

Now, Pichu doesn't need us to play with him, he just picks the toy that makes the most noise (presents from Tigris) and plays by himself. I have to pretend I ignore it and try to go back to sleep. I think I'll finally get used to sleep with this noise, I just have a vague supposition that if I hide these toys, he'll find other things to do, like knocking pots and vases down

Boomer like to wait until we've just fallen asleep and then find the loudest thing he can to play with. I don't think he cares what is, be it a plastic spoon on the tile floor, or a metal food tin that he stole from the trashcan, or even the splash sound that my glasses make when he knocks them into the toilet bowl, it's all fun to him. I can't count how many times I get up to *ahem* use the facilities during the night and had to stop short because i noticed something unexpected like my glasses, contact case, or comb sitting in the toilet water.

Aw, you are still a kitten at heart, Eddie! I know what you mean about being woken at 3 a.m! Randi sleeps on the bed every night, and some nights he decides to wake me up by touching my face with his little nose or giving me a lick so that I will cuddle him. Some times he even "talks" until I wake up. Awwwwwww!!!

:D :D :D

Tubby has decided that 5:00 am is the perfect time to lick Peanut's head - which we all know leads to a spat between the two. So every morning at 5:00 am I am awakened by a minor cat fight. Tubby, can't you please wait just one more hour until my alarm goes off? ;) :D

There must be something about 3 am. It always seems that Abner, Mystic and Smokey want something at that hour. Do you think it is some kind of genetic code in cats???;)

Silly Eddie - waking Meowmie up at 3AM - I am sure Edwina gave him a piece of her mind!

One the same vein, I am sure Connor is nocturnal - just before *my* bedtime he gets all playfull, after sleeping all day:rolleyes:
