I stopped by the petstore today to take some donation toys and newspapers to the rescue group where I got Jazz and Scout. They had a cat there that I want so bad. His name is Polo and he is a solid white polydactyl about 10-12 months old. He was left on the porch of the rescue's clinic in a tiny pet carrier with his brother Marco. Marco and Polo, isn't that cute?

Anyway, he is so sweet, loves to be scratched and will even let you play with his extra toes. On top of that he was a talker and carried on quite a conversation with me. I WANT HIM!! I called my husband at work and basically begged. He still says no more cats right now. I would about give anything to bring that little guy home. They said there is a lady trying to decide between him and two other cats (both sweeties) and she is coming to get one of them on Saturday. Maybe I can get my husband to let us stop by on Sunday and see if he's still there.:D

Oh well, had to share with you guys. I sound like a teenage girl with a big crush when I talk about him.

come on Jazzcat, you know these husbands are just big softies underneath, work on him, use whatever feminine wiles you have to and you will have your Polo home with you real soon.

Hey good luck and I sure hope you get him.:) :D

Hopefully he'll still be available so you can show him off to your husband. He sounds like such a sweetheart. Good luck. :)

Do you actually think Charlie said "Yea, go out and bring home #6....#7.....#8......#9...........#10............. ....." NO I just did it.;) I would apologize profusely, and his responce over the years has changed from "Well, no more" to "You can have as many as you want"
I guess I wore him down ;) :D

So I say........GO FOR IT !!!!!!!!

LOL...I wondered how you did it, Jen ;)

Though if I tried that approach, I would be minus one partner

I have two approaches :-

1. Suggest that you both should just go and see kitty. Just to look ;)

2. Say 'What a shame we can't take poor kitty'. i.e. Introduce the idea and let him decide

ACK. You'd be surprized how tolerant men are with the women they love. :)
