I remember reading a book in English last year -- about four children whos mother is an alcoholic, and their father didn't visit much. The oldest child's name was Catherine, and the younger child (Alisa?) had some sort of imaginary place or something that she always talked about.

I forget what the book was called and I'm really interested in reading it again.

Does anyone know the name of it? :)

It was a great book.... I just have a horrible memory.

It doesn't sound familiar to me, although I am awful at remembering titles of books I've read. Was it a part of your English class last year? Maybe you could go to your teacher from last year and ask him/her?

I am not familiar with it - why not ask either your teacher or a classmate? ;) If that doesn't work, let me know, and I can post it on a library-related email list as a "stumper."

I'm afraid I can't help you there, Kay. It's been 4 years since I was in high school....and I don't remember a single thing I read. lol. :o
