My companion

After years of thought I finally am getting my own dog! (Since Chilli is living so far away. :() I am getting a mini dachshund and her name will be Gigi. I visited her today and she is so tiny. :) Also met her parents and sibling. Mama and papa are very energetic. She and her brother looks like mother, the other sibling look like daddy. I am very excited. My mother know about my decision long time ago and she understands I want (and need) a companion so she is quite supportive. However, dad is like "you better think twice." He didn't know HOW LONG I have been thinking and planning about having my own dog and now I am just going to have my friend/daughter/companion. :( Anyway, here are some pictures...

Oh Gawd!!! I’m about to faint from jealousy. I want a Dachshund so badly, but we’re maxed out right now as far as pups go.

Thanks, guys. :D I am happy to have her in my life. She will come home around Christmas. She will be a month old next Sat! :D

One piece of advice ... vacuum your floors before Gigi arrives. Why? Dachshunds for Dummies recommends you crawl around your entire house on your belly to get a doxie-eye view of anything that she might chew so you can remove it from reach. Have fun! :D

Look at that face! She's so pretty! Aneko's going for a cut on Wednesday, so I'll be able to see her BIG eyes again then, too! She'll be mad at me again for a couple of days. :)

She has very few teeth left, so she has so much bone loss that I can’t tell if she had an under bite or not. She actually looks kinda funny now, cause her lip droops on one side due to the tooth loss. :D And her tongue sometimes sticks out of that side when she’s sleeping. :p

I’ve tried to stop taking pics of her, or the other 2 when she’s in the house, since it upsets her so badly. She’s started hiding under the bed and won’t come out when she sees the camera. Plus it makes her hate me even more. :(
