Catboy,

I have a semi-feral boy, Lil Eli, who is terrified of almost everything. You have to learn to be patient. When I walk by Lil Eli, I ignore him. This shows him that he has nothing to be afraid of. The only time I acknowledge him is if he jumps up in my lap, on the bed or when he's on the kittyscape looking out the window. That's HIS way of letting me know it's okay for me to pet him.

Be patient, give him alot of love and kitty treats. Catnip is also good.

Keep us posted.

Catboy, I think you just have to accept that all kitties have different personalitys, they are just like people, what one cat is afraid of , another is curious about, my younger cat Lexie is a bit of a scaredy cat, but she is very curious about everything, sometimes if she sees us coming towards her she runs like she is so scared, funny really as she is very happy and content with us now,and knows us so well., I used to worry why she was like this, but I have learned its just her, and she is one adorable loving cat, so if your kitty is a bit skittish, it still does not take away from their loving side, so GET CONNECTING, its well worth it!!!!!

Just be prepared to accept your scaredy cat, because that is probably the kind of nature kitty has., be patient and give kitty lots of loving and I am sure all will be well.:)
