Hi. This is Cataholic's sister Jessica. A coworker of mine brought home a beagle puppy a few months ago, and shortly thereafter the pup became sick...vomiting, listlessness, etc. A lot of vet visits later (and short-term treatments, including shots, antibiotics, etc.), it appears that it is a liver problem that he was likely born with, and will cost @$1,000 to fix. He has already cost them quite a bit, and they aren't having a good time financially, as her husband has been laid off. Simply put, they can't afford it. They hate the thought of having to put him to sleep, and I thought I'd try to find out if there were any beagle rescues around that could help. Any advice?? We are in the Cincinnati area...thanks.

If all else fails, I know he could go there.

Please let us know what happens--I have such a soft spot in my heart for beagles--I love them to death!!!!
