I have a black Cocker rescue, 8 years old and she is the most lovable and affectionate dog ever, though some can develop a bit of an attitude. But most are very affectionate.

I had a black cocker for 14 years, her name was also Lacey and she was the sweetest thing ever! She passed into doggie heaven on January 16th. :-(

I never thought I would do it after feeling SO bad in January but my husband and I got another Cocker Spaniel Puppy at the beginning of September. His name is Bandit. I am going to try to attach a picture of him. I have never had a boy dog and he is all boy! AND, we are planning to get him a little sister at the beginning of December. She is all black and her name will be Bessie!
