Poor Max:( But he's going to feel so much better once his surgery is completed. Gee, my first thought was crating. You could also try gating off a small area of the kitchen or bedroom so he might have a bit more room to move around in without over doing it. I don't think there are too many ways to keep an active, young dog "quiet" post op except for limiting his space...and carrying him around! Will he be having rehab post op? I'm sure your vet will explain in greater detail the limitations of his activities post op. Usually activities/exercise are gradually increased over a period of time. Hugs to Max!! I hope all goes well with the surgery!:)
