Hey, Everyone. I've been so busy, I haven't checked in since early last week sometime.
Beauregard has found a great permanent home. They are a real nice young couple and they own their own home and 4 other dogs! 2 beagle mixes and 2 lab mixes.
Matthew, Beau's new Daddy, works at the Kennel/Animal Hospital where Beau was staying. Of course, he fell in love with him. Saint Bernard Rescue let him take him in to foster him - to see how he would do and so he wouldn't have to stay in the kennel anymore. I went to interview him and his family and do a home inspection and I think it's a great home for him. He seemed relaxed and content. He and the other dogs got along great, although there was a lot of humpin goin on! Beau and the 2 lab mixes are all males - but the lab mixes are under a year and I figured-they are still tryin to establish their rank in the pack and they will work it out as long as their humans keep it under control and friendly.
But overall, it seemed a good home for him! And they really seemed to love him.
The best part-Matthew can take him to work with him-so we don't have to worry about the seperation anxiety!!:D

Yes, Thanks everyone. Everyone who was involved is happy and very relieved too. The St.Bernard Rescue wasn't sure he would be adoptable, due to his Seperation Anxiety. In a lot of cases they are returned over and over again, and become "unadoptable" in which case they are taken in - in a perminent basis- by a foster. But all their foster homes are over full. Sandra has around 6 unadoptables. She says 1 is partially cripled, 2 have bad fobias and the others have other problems which have caused them to be returned several times. She says she loves them all, but as she put it "no one else can or will"
It's really sad. :(

Always glad when we get follow-ups to stories of dogs in need! Glad Beau has a good home that understands him! Yay!
