Im scared...

Today when I was at school during Language arts class our principle came on and said that in Newbreman there are 2 guys in a truck trying to get kids in there cars like offering them candy. Our principle and the police are afraid they are going to come here to St.Marys. Im really freaked out about this because this never happened in out town (or maybe) I know *never* to get in with anyone but its scaring that there are sombody out there trying to get us in there cars. Sorry I needed to get it off my shoulders.

That is pretty scary. Just keep on being smart about it though - stick to streets you know and don't walk anywhere alone. You'll be okay. :)

We have a similar situation here at the moment and a lot of the children at school were very scared about what they had heard on the radio and from their friends. We asked the local policeman to visit school to tell the children the facts - which he did. We then made it clear that the best way to make sure this man is caught and can not surprise anybody is for us all to be aware he is out there. Since we made it a public concern the man has not been sighted and there have been no more incidents. You are doing the best things you can - be aware, tell your friends, stick together, tell your parents about it and you will be as safe as houses. He can not operate in an area where everybody is on the look out for him and everyone is aware of him.

some guy tried to kidnap my friend downtown cincinatti while i was with him, and my friend punched the gun in the face and we ran back to my friends brothers house and told him, the guy was driving down the street about an hour later and my friends brother called the police, then went out and talked to him to keep him around for the police.
