Tex and Minnie

This is so strange to me. Recently, maybe the last 3 weeks or so, Tex has been setting up camp from Minnie, say, 2-3 feet away. No one is in any distress, just sitting there. In fact, Tex is usually in his feline torso (aka Sphyx) position. They are generally under the dining table, but, separated by the legs of the table- at the base. But, without doubt, Tex is sitting next to Minnie, on purpose.

Why is Tex doing this? None of the other cats do it, and Tex has never shown any aggression towards Minnie.

Aww, how sweet of Tex! Sounds like he is curious about her and trying to be friends.
Both Phoenix and my RB Kitty Taz (also a male cat) had this obsession with Schatzie my black female cat.
They would follow her but respectfully keep a distance of about 2 feet and then sit down like Tex in this non-aggressive submissive sort of way.

Tex knows that he is irresistable to all women both feline and human.;)
