View Full Version : Bad News.....I can't find Stuart!!!!
I called and called for him last night.......checked house to house! I'm afraid he's ran away. :( I'm sooo sad. He probably felt the only thing to do was to run away. Odd thing is, he has his collar on that say's "Mr. Stuart Little" and his phone #. Which leads me to believe he's...well.....hurt or ......I just can't bring myself to say it. My new home is on a lake and I must have spent 30 minutes crying on my dock last night after my exausted search for him. I just hope he is in the arms of the good Lord above. I feel I put him in harms way............and how does one ever forgive themself for that????????? :( :(

Please don't jump to conclusions. Many of our cats have gone for "a walk about", but they return. Since you just moved he may not be able to find his way back home. Put some food out on the patio and put something out that smells like him (like his favorite blanket). He may just need a hand finding his way back to you.
We will keep all of our fingers and paws crossed that Mr. Stuart will safely find his way back to you

Does anyone else know where he is?

Don't Panic.
Cats can get lost (esp when having moved house recently)
Collers can also be lost (And if you let your cat outside he should be fitted with a safety break away collar just in case)
On another forum (*in the UK) I visit someone's cat turned up after four weeks alive and well (though a little skinny/dirty)
Cats can and do survive outside. Our Pet Talk Eli was missing for several days before his owner caught him around the corner from her house.
Keep us updated.
Sending prayers for him to come home safe and sound.

Lele,
Please do not give up hope!! As PayItForward said, my Lil Eli fell out of my front window and wasn't seen for 5 days!!! But all along he was hiding in the entranceway to the basement.
Please keep us posted. We DO care!!!

Like the others have said, don't give up. Put up posters and speak to anyone you can. Someone is bound to spot him sooner or later. BTW I just love his name. The Stuart Little movies are my all time favourites. Please keep us updated.

Don't forget to put his scent (and yours) outside the house.
Remember his nose is what's going to bring him home, so put those blankets outside!
I'm still looking for him. A nieghbor left a note saying they thought they had found him, but when I got there, it was not him. He must of belonged to someone near as he ran off to another house. I had thought for a second that maby Stuart ran off so another stray could be saved. Who knows how the Lord works. A friend said her cat was gone for a month but came home a little tired, ragged, hungry, etc. but came home nontheless. Thank you for you continued prayers and support. I'll keep ya updated. :)

Lele, I hope he comes home soon. You've probably tried all of these things, but here's a link to an article about things to try. I hope Stuart comes home soon.

Let us know if Stuart comes home!
Is he neutered? If not maybe he's just Tomcatting around.
How long have you lived in your new place? You know - cats are pretty well-known for "two-timing" their owners. Maybe he's getting his food somewhere else. Keep us updated!
