I got this on one of my rescue lists. Can anyone help out?

Hi, I work with Yorkie rescue and run the Yorkiefest in Ohio. I have
a friend who is losing her home and has to go someplace where her
beloved Lacey, an American Pit Bull, is not allowed to go. Lacey has
been a family dog, and has been loved. She's spayed, UTD on shots and
has never been the least bit aggressive. She's 75 lbs., tan and
white, and is just 2 years old. She is in Hamilton, Ohio.
Her family is heartsick about having to lose her, but I promised to
try to help her find a good home, which is why I'm here.
If you know of any rescue groups I should contact or have any
information that may help me, please contact me at
[email protected]
I am on digest, so please contact me privately.
Lacey will be taken to a shelter this weekend if we can't find a
place for her.
I really appreciate any input you can give me on this.
Thank you so much,
Becky

Good news!!! Michelle, the girl that took Dio, is going to take Lacey!!! Yeah!!! This dear girl not only saved my baby (who is doing beautifully) but is saving Lacey, and 5 death row dogs in Kansas!! She is my heroine!!

Molly,

I'm so glad you got a quick response on this case. Lacey can
be in a family situation & not a shelter enviroment.:) I hope
she does well. This sort of problem could happen to anyone
& it so terrible for the dog owner & the dog involved. I can only
imagine how bad she feels about this.:( Good luck Lacey.

I will send your response to her Logan. Isn't that great?? My friend Holly, who lives in Maine, is arranging the transport from Ohio to Minnesota. We are hoping that it can get done next weekend. I wanted to drive for it, but it will, once again, run up the opposite side of the state. Maybe I can get Johanna to start out the transport.....hhmmmmm ;)

As long as we can fill 4 legs before Saturday, Lacey is on her way. I am going to drive down to Winchester, IN to pick her up from her mom on Thursday night and then keep her overnight at our house. I am getting up at 5am on Friday and will take her to the north side of town and drop her off at 6am to Kevin who will drive her to Granger to meet Ronda (my new friend who I am trying to get to join us here) who will then probably take her up to Ronda's mom's in Beloit, WI and then will take her on to Madison Saturday morning. We need Madison to Tomah, Tomah to Eau Claire, Eau Claire to Woodville, and then Woodville to Michelle. I am hoping that Michelle can get her in Woodville. I will keep you up to date.
