You will maybe remember me telling you about a tabby cat that I was not sure if it is a stray or not, I had not seen it for a while, but I was coming inside from bringing the washing in, when I could swear I heard a miaow, not my kitties voices.

Sure enough there was kitty under the van, so I went inside and got some roast chicken and fed it, I think its a girl, not 100 per cent sure, as the neutered males look similar to my eyes.

She was not ravenous, and ate at her own pace, and gradually she came out and I patted her, picked her up, she did not seem to mind, she looks very healthy, and I donot honestly think she is a stray , just a curious visitor.

Later on I went outside again , this time i sat on the verandah and she came up and was all smoochy, she has a real funny miaow, quite siamese type, she is very spotted, quite nice markings.

I wonder when she will visit me next, mind you if Ash spots her there will be trouble. so I best be careful here.

She seems rather sweet, I would have to turn her into the no kill shelter here if she were a stray, but I sure donot want to take some-ones beloved pet away from them, and most people donot micro-chip them, and she has no collar.

Time will tell I suppose.

Just hope I am not doing the wrong thing encouraging her here.

Mum's cat Milo is very personable and would visit all the neighbours for some nibblies and a bit of lovin' ... needless to say, she got quite, um, rotund.

I don't think that this kitty is a stray ... she seems to come and go as she pleases so she's probably one of those travelling kitties that gives everyone a visit. I think that it's good to encourage her - she probably just wants a cuddle from everyone on the block! :)

I have about 4 Cats coming around and they are helpful as they eat all the Cat Food that I try andthe Cats dot care for. They loved the Shrimp and Crab and the Mackeral and Tuna , that my Cats turned thier noses up at!

I don't think you should feed her, if you think she is owned.

If you knew she was a stray or she started to get thinner (Like Mr Stray / RB Caramel), then fair enough feed her.

But what if she is on a diet at home, maybe she has to avoid certain food for medical reasons.....

I wouldn't be happy if someone else fed my cats would you. What if someone fed our cats, so they didn't eat the food we provide, we wouldn't be happy !!!

By all means give her a cuddle but I would think carefully before feeding a strange cat.

That is a good point payitforward, I never thought of it that way, well it was not much that I gave her, so hopefully I did no harm, perhaps I will just give her cuddles like Tamara suggested, I am sure she is just a visitor, as she looks very healthy indeed, not fat , but not slim, just right really.

Her fur looks good and her eyes , ears etc, so Brandy as I have nick-named her, will just enjoy my cuddles from now on.

Thanks for you input folk's , I appreciate your different points of view.
P.S.
In my secret thoughts , I wish she were a stray, and I could afford to keep her, but I cannot, so it is best that she does indeed have a home, and just pays me a friendly visit now and then.
