I am very fond of your unusual name and I hope you'll adapt to the life mainly inside the house very well...this transition can only be made with loads of toys...;) ...and treats...;)

Mew, Hi Bergen,

You are a handsome orange boy, mew-mew! My KatMa adores cats; a lovely feline is a necessity in her life. When KatMa was born, the cat of her Palace was a silver Manx named Skeezix. My KatMa never forgot Skeezix & she told me "one never forgets their first love".

Neat that the man of your Palace, like my PawPaw, is equipped with a comfy lap! I love watching TV with my PawPaw.

Like you, I'm rescued. Did I holler and MeeeeeOooW when KatMa & PawPaw decided I was to be an indoor cat. Me-oww, now I'm happy to survey the Palace grounds through my screened windows, and to go out for walks with PawPaw. I wear a fancy red flashing light on my collar when we go for a walk.

Have a wonderful life with your purrsons who adore you. Celebrate today with snacks, go "fishing" for the red yarn fish and some cuddles on your man's lap are in order.

Aww, what a big, beautiful creamsicle kitty greets us today! Just the perfect touch of "orange" to kick off October!! What a sweet boy you are Bergen, with nary a hiss or growl coming from that sweet mouth of yours! But then I doubt there's much to complain about...life sure sounds grand at your house! Lots of toys to play with, your very own "indoor track," good lovin' and warm laps to snuggle in...who needs the great outdoors??;) By the way, Bergen, just wondering if your name indicates a Norweigan link somewhere in your family heritage?? We once had a Manx and also referred to her as a "race car kitty" because her hind end was jacked up...and those manxies can JUMP!

Interesting name:) You are very handsome as your pictures show. You are quite photogenic. Not often do we see manx cats. My Sunny who is also orange loves to lounge in the bathroom sink.:) Enjoy your day and congrats on being COTD!:D
