Annie and Emma like to be indoors at night, but cannot quite decide what to do in the morning. Annie usually tells me very clearly that she wants to go outside. I let her out. Now where is Emma? Emma, Emma, I call! Emma just cannot make up her mind. I am standing there with the screen door open and here comes Rascal. (close door)
No, Rascal, you love a good fight too much, you are in indoor boy now.
Rascal walks away. Here comes Emma - full tilt, running to the screen door (now closed) and runs head on into the screen. She bounces off of it and sits there dazed giving me this look worth a million dollars. Of course it is my fault because Emma takes about fifteen minutes every morning to decide what she wants.
I open the screen for her - she goes out - Annie comes back in.
I want out, I want in, I want out, I want in, I want out.............
At least I understand Rascal - he simply wants to go OUT!
