Well no I didn't get a new cat, but it seems like I did. All week so far he wants to be near me and cuddled up to me. Today he has figured out that laps are good to lay on as well. I can't figure out if his pills are making him like this or if he really missed me over the weekend and doesn't want to go back into the big purple box. But what every is making him do this. I LOVE IT! He has never really been one to lay on your lap, or be cuddled up to you all day long. He has always followed me around, but now he is right with me. Which before he would slowly get to where I was, he would take his time to get to me. Now when he sees me get up he's up waiting to see where I'm headed. It's so cute. I love it when he's like this. I love him more than anything but this is making me even more happy. I can't wait to wake up in the morning just so I can go sit on the couch and have him cuddle with me. He sleeps with me at night but he's always done that.
Sorry I keep going on. But it is so cooool and nice to have him right next to me or on my lap.

Hi Katie,
My Eliot is normally quite aloof. BUT, during storms and for a few days after - he is a combibation lapkitty and pillow mate. I have noticed this quite a few times and am pretty sure it has to do with the storms! For one thing, he is scared of the noise and comes running - but I think I have made the connection that he keeps this nearness for several days as "security" <big sigh> I WISH it was all the time as I would ADORE a lapkitty!! Normally, the most I get from Eliot each day is a token headnudge or two and a touch on the nose then off he goes!

Then you right click on the picture and highlight properties and then copy it. Then go to Pet Talk and click on the IMG section and then paste the properties info from imagestation. I hope that made sense. :) Here's an older thread that describes it in more detail http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7406. Good luck. :)
