I visit my mom every weekend. She only lives 20 minutes from me so on Sunday's we spend the day shopping and having lunch. As most of you know she has a total of 8 furkids and I love all of them like they are my own babies.

We came home from doing our grocery shopping and I helped her put her things away and I had to go to the ladies room, so I went down the hall and I can see into the bathroom. Sitting by the door is Ma-Gee, she has this priceless look on her face. I turn the corner and Tiger-Lily is sitting on the toilet and on the floor is a great big pile of towels and they are moving.

I pick up the towels, expecting a mouse.....well, it was a snake. A small, about a foot long, harmless garden snake. Well, all I can say is I don't do snakes I can handle a groundmole, mouse, bird, etc...but not a snake.

It seems that Buttercup has been bringing my mom her very special gift of a snake a day and I just happen to be the reciepant of that special gift yesterday. The joys of furkids.

AAAAAAAGGH!! I think I would probably have passed away. I'm not particularly squeamish about bugs or horrible things the cats do, but I'm afraid I would have to draw the line at snakes. They really do give me the heeby jeebies. Oh, even the thought is too much for me. I have to go and lie down!

I don't mind snakes, but even the smallest spider sends me screaming! Then again, a snake emerging from my washing would scare the living daylights out of me :)

Silly kitties, you are supposed to put the snakes in the bed not the towels :)
