Mew, you are a pretty little girleyRat. My KatMa loves all animals and finds little ones like you just soooooo cute. Meow, I'm a cat so I must admit rats as pets did not cross my mind -- but I'm open to learning.

Sounds like a two-tiered cage is a very nice Palace for a little Princess Rat who lives almost next door to me in Oakville, Ontario. Actually, my purrson Auntie Carol lives in Oakville...I live with my purrents in Montreal.

KatMa believes rats make wonderful pets. We're attaching a photo of Piglet, the Squirrel who loves my Aunt Myra. She comes to see Myra & Squirt (the cat) every day to be fed. She's so tame now. Piglet does not get too close to Munchkin (the cat) 'cause Munchie knows she's a squirrel, so Piglet is very cautious here! We figure Squirt thinks Piglet is a litter mate.

I'll bet you have great fun scurrying about in your new 2 story rattie condo!:D As it should be, you are totally loved and adored by your two devoted furparents!! Who can blame them?? I admit it, I was one of those who thought it was strange to have a rat as a pet.

Then I met Dusty. Just that one introduction proved to me how dear rats can be and that they do make loving pets. Dusty would sit in my lap forever, letting me stroke her head and back.

Congratulations on being honored today, Squirmy. Perhaps you can persuade others with your sweet story that rats are fun.
