Hi, all. I am so sorry to have to report that Millie died on Sunday. She was such a fighter and that, along with her mommy's love and care, allowed her to make it for 13 years. Now her strong little spirit has been released from that messed up little body and she can run and play with the other beloved RB babies.
Debbie is as you would expect - pretty devastated. I just talked to her and while we were on the phone, a stray kitty came up to Deb's apartment door. Naturally, Deb keeps cat food around just for such occasions so out came the kibble. Even in our grief the love and antics of other animals can offer at least temporary solace.
Thank you so much for keeping my dear friend and her furbaby in your thoughts and prayers. That has helped Deb so much and I know it will continue to do so. Wishing the best for each and everyone of you PT folks - Bobbi

I am heartbroken for Debbie and for Millie, and you too, Bobbi. :(
I don't know what else to say. I hope that Debbie can find solace in the fact that Millie was loved beyond belief and was a happy girl. :)

Oh no, Bobbi:( I'm absolutely heartbroken for Debbie and for you. Sweet Millie was such a little fighter, you're right. But God must have needed a very special angel to grace Heaven to have taken her from the Mommy who loved her so. I hope Debbie takes comfort in knowing that there never was a more loved doggie than Millie. Many, many dog lovers all over the world are sharing her deep pain and her great loss. Millie, I know my Jingles is making you welcome there at the Rainbow Bridge, taking you by the paw and showing you the ropes. And one day Millie, in the distant future, you and your Mommy will be together again. Debbie, I'm so very sorry. Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies. I wish I could say something to make you feel better. Just know you have many friends here who care. Love, Sandra

Bobbi, I am so sorry, hearbroken over the loss of Millie. I can understand how Deb feels, last year I almost lost both of my dogs and it was the most painful time of my life. Please extend my sympathy to Deb and tell her we understand her sorrow. I'm sure Millie has crossed over the Rainbow bridge and looks back on the wonderful 13 years she got to spend with Deb, and appreciates all the love and kindness Deb gave her. She is now with our beloved pets who went before her. Lots of hugs going
to you and Deb.

I'm so very sorry about Millie. Take comfort in the fact that she's free from pain and whole again, waiting on her mommy to come and fetch her for that walk over the beautiful rainbow bridge towards God and Heaven.
Run and play and be happy, Millie. Chase the wind and toys and butterflies and listen carefully for mommys voice, sweetie.

I am so very sorry to hear that Millie has left this world. No matter how long our little ones are with us, it never seems to be long enough. My heart goes out to Debbie at this very difficult time.
Bobbi, your support for your friend is phenominal. How comforting to know she has someone like you in her life. It means the world when one is in pain to be able to share a bit of your grief with a caring friend who understands. Your posts show just how very much you care. Debbie and Millie were both blessed to have you.

Oh, my. Thank you all again for such beautiful, kind thoughts and for taking the time to express your condolences and offers of support. It has meant the world to Debbie and honestly, to me, too. Your thoughtfulness touched me so and helped me, too. Debbie is like a sister to me. I would do anything I could for her and I know she would do the same for me.
I'm sorry that my intro to this group has been on such a sad note. However, this has shown me just what wonderful, compassionate people are involved in PT and I feel privileged to be among such folks. Best wishes and hugs to all - Bobbi
