You know how garlic isn't good for dogs? What about garlic powder? I heard that it was treated or something so that it doesn't have the same properties but I don't know if that's true.
Any ideas? :)

I think I heard somewhere that sprinkling Garlic Powder on their food was good for getting rid of Fleas.
Not sure though.

garlic isn't good for dogs? LOL I've been trying to find an answer to that but I found that alot of people said it's bad since it's related to onions and some say it's good as long as it isn't given in huge amounts. I have no idea about garlic powder lol

I think that says not to use powder lol. That really sucks, because every dog biscuit recipe I come across has garlic in it. I always just delete that from the ingredients, but alot of people might not think to do that..

I feed my dogs brewers yeast with garlic tablets. It is good for their skin coat and does some what help with fleas. Processed garlic that is in the tablets is not bad for them but a raw garlic clove. Thats different. It would more than likely give them a bad case of pancretitis. Which can make them very ill and even death.

I sprinkled garlic powder on Cody's food for 11.4 yrs and he never ever had a flea!!! Regardless of what "studies" show, I'm sorry, I disagree, I think it was detremental to his diet. Now I'm doing the same for Logan.
