I received a call today about a kitten who was seen being thrown out of a car on one of our busy highways!!!!
Luckily, a good samaritan turned around and went back to rescue this baby from the street, before it was hit!

Meet baby Mitsy... only 5 or 6 weeks old.

Kim she is simply beautiful, how could any body do such a thing, to something so cute, it's beyond belief, she is now a lucky girl, as she has you as her foster mum, and I hope she finds a deserving home soon, what a real sweetie!!!!!

I just don't understand how they can do that....to any living creature, much less something as adorable as this! I mean really, if they didn't want her, couldn't they just take her to the Humane Society or another shelter? Why just throw her out? It's so sad that there are people like that in the world. :(

But the good news is that there are good people out there too, like the good samaritan that saved her, and like our beloved Kim who took her in and will make sure she gets a much better start on life than what she's had so far. :D

I cannot believe some people. They should be thrown out a window. I wonder how they would enjoy the adventure.

Such a sweet kitty. You are a dear for taking it in.

Oh my God. I am so in love with that girl.

I've never felt the desire to cuddle a kitty to bits while feeling an intense desire to beat the crap out of someone at the same time.

I, too, cannot understand the inhumanity of some people. But I am glad that Mitsy now has you to look after her. Big thanks also to the person who rescued her.
She is just adorable.

I also agree that some people can be so inhumane. I'm so glad that a good samaritian was able to rescue her and bring her to you so she can receive the care she needs. She's so adorable and I sure hope that she finds the loving caring forever home that she deserves. Good luck and please keep us updated on cutie pie Mitsy. :)

I couldn't agree with you more Soledad.

Oh Kim, she is simply gorgeous. If I lived closer to you, believe me I would take her in a heartbeat and give her so much love that she is so deserving of.

Bless that angel of a samaritan who turned around to rescue this precious baby, and bless you Kim for taking her in.

Oh little Mitsy,
may this guy who threw you be born again as a cockroach.

But now you are in the best hands ever and will have a good life:)

Isn't she beautiful? Please give her cuddles from me.
She's been one of the lucky ones - hope you find her a brilliant home when she's ready.

What a precious face!
(I can't even go into my feelings toward the monster that threw her out a window or your monitors would all melt from the heat of my wrath)

Oh my goodness, how awful ... I just don't understand how someone can do that to such a beautiful creature.

When I first moved to Austin there were several cases of people taking kittens and throwing them out their car windows on IH-35, our busiest highway. It got so bad that there were billboards up trying to get people to take their (unfortunately) unwanted kittens to the animal shelters where they could be adopted out. It about killed me to hear that people could actually do something that cruel!! It's been almost 2 years since I've lived here now and you never hear about it anymore.

I actually wanted to volunteer for the animal shelter, but my husband won't let me. He's afraid I'll "bring my work home". :D
