I've never heard of this problem!!! My dog Sparky woke the other morning with an erection. An hour later it was still there and we began to get worried. We took him to the vet and apparently he had burst a vessell or vein or something??? which was stopping his penis from going back in. The vet had to push it back in and then give him a stitch and an injection to keep him from getting excited. He is desexed so I was surprised that he even got the erection in the first place??? He is almost back to normal now, but still has to wear one of those funny collar things to stop him from licking and chewing. What an ordeal, poor Sparky!!!
