Cute saying for those of us who love our dogs

You may have seen this, but I just ran across it on another site, and it is exactly how I feel.

DOGS LIVE HERE

If you don't want to be greeted with paws and wiggly rears, don't come inside, because dogs live here.
If you don't like the feel of a cold nose or wet tongue, don't come inside, because dogs live here.
If you don't want to step over scattered toys, don't come inside, because dogs live here.
If you think a home should smell like perfume, don't come inside, because dogs live here.

Logan I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to find a way to print that up and put it on my front door...or inside the house.

That's adorable...and SO true! Just today I drove to a former employees' house to pick up a computer that my company owns and I walked into her house and stepped over several rawhide and rope toys...then was greated by a most handsome golden retriever boy with a waggie tail :) He was some watch dog :) He came prancing up to me all happy and adoring :) And it was a small house so there was alot of dog hair and toys....AND I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!!

There's nothing more homey then walking into a home with dogs :) They make me feel all warm and fuzzy :) If that were on a plaque I would buy it in a second!

I love it! It's so true! When we went to get our second dog, my mom said "what if people come over and they don't like dogs?" and I said "well, they don't have to come over then. I don't like people who don't like dogs!"

Love it. I'm going to have to find a way to print it out and post it on my door. I'll have to add a few words in the stepping over scattered toys because dogs live here to dogs and a toddler lives here. Between the three of them, there's hardly any room to walk. I always said if a burglar breaks into our house, he's going to break his neck trying to walk through the living room and toy room. :D

Last April, for the big annual auction of Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, I made and donated a print of that poem,with a picture of two Goldens and a very fancy frame. It was sold faster than you can say Golden. :D By the way, we made close to $ 50,000 at the auction. Isn't it great how some people get together to help the dogs? :cool:

I went home last night and was greeted by my Husky. After petting him, he shook and I saw hair flying everywhere. I thought, I need to add some line about if you don't want hair everywhere, don't come inside because dogs live here. :D

I printed out that out and put it on my front door. My mom came this morning to baby-sit my daugther, read the post and turned around to go home!!! I laughed and said that doesn't apply to you, get in here!!
