Ringo's potty problem:p Warning do not read if you have a weak stomach

Last night I took Ringo out to potty well he was trying to poo for a long while and I thought ok he's constipated, so I took him inside and gave him some milk and looked at his bum to see if anything was blocking his umm "stuff" and there was this big clump of poo stuck in his bum hair:eek: :eek: :eek: Well I had to cut it all off :p :eek: :p and then I told my dad and He said " Baylee when we got him the lady said you need to trim that area of hair so that wouldn't happen" and I'm thinking Yea Ringo would sit still long enough for me to trim that hair I probably end up cutting him:( Because he squrims so much :rolleyes: But after I cut that clump out I gave him a bath and he's all better now, oh BTW we are planning on his first grooming soon:) I don't really know the purpose of this post now that I re-read it :o I just thought I'd let you know. Sorry If I was a little to graphic

My mother in law has that trouble with one of her poms--he's always getting "dirty butt"
The best thing to do is keep the hair short, or you do have to cut it when it gets nasty.

The same thing just recently happened with my yorkie, too. Just trim it regularly and you shouldn't have a problem. :) :D

We always kept our westie's butt shaved cause of "dingleberries". :rolleyes: I thought that with Aneko being so old she'd have them, too. Weirdly enough, she doesn't have a problem with them, though we do keep her cut fairly short.

Even though this isnt about dogs, Maggie my cat get little clumps of it also in her hair.

I'd take him to a groomer and have them do a "sanitary clip" on him. :)
