What a sweet and heartwarming story, i bet that little girl was so relieved to find her cat after being gone for a month! If one of my cats 'escape' i sleep on the couch so i can hear them at the door...am glad that hasn't happened in a long time! And what a fabulous reward...a sister! And such a sweet one, waiting by the door when you come home!

What a great story! Alls well that ends well. Please ask your vet about microchipping. That way (God forbid) if Heidi is ever missing, you will increase the chances of getting her home. Vets and shelters regularly scan for microchips that link the pet back to you.

Pretty Heidi, you are the very picture of kitty sweetness. You have such lovely soft colors in your coat. Your purrents did the right thing in letting your brother go back to his home and to the girl he belonged to, although they had come to love him. Now they have you to sleep on their laps, chase their shadows, and to wake up with your little head on the pillow next to theirs. As heartbreaking as it must have been to "leg go" of their rescue, I'm sure that little girl was so grateful for their selfless kindness and compassion!
