My instinct whenever I see Purple and Yellow is to think of the Los Angeles Lakers, lol. ;) My stepmom's mom is about to lose her dog and does want another one when she's in a place to get one. She's planning to move to Colorado and maybe I can get her to stop over in Illinois and take a look at some German Sherpherd rescues....

Just a volunteer?? Well, that's what makes up a successful resuce group...the efforts of dozens and dozens of dedicated volunteers, JUST LIKE YOU, doing whatever they can, as much as they can, whenever they can to assure these deserving doggies find their forever homes!:) All I can say is your group is SO lucky to have someone like you in their fold! And just a thought...how about making Killian the offical mascot??:) I can't think of a more perfect example of the benefits of rescue than our hero...Killian!:)

Sandra, Killian WOULD be the perfect model of a successful rescue story, BUT.......the president is using her OWN dog for that!!!:rolleyes: Gee, just cause she's president......LOL In fact, the GSD drawing on our emblem is her own rescue, Charlie. He actually is a real cutie-pie and sweet, too. That's ok! Killian will always be one of the BEST in my eyes:cool: !!!

Not the macscot:( No matter!! Killian will ALWAYS be my inspiration and my hero!:) As far as I'm concerned, he will always be the embodiement of the rewards of rescue! We love ya, big guy:) Aunt Sandra, Star***Shine and Cutie Cody!
