Thanks to PT, I've realized that after 17 years, I have no pics of me with Tubby. I mean none, nada, zip! So the other day I tried - tried being the operative word here. I gave the camera to Terry and held Tubby. This is the result.

It's certainly not the best of pics because it looks like I'm holding on to Tubby for dear life, strangling him almost, but I guess it'll have to do for starters.:rolleyes: Terry took about 3 or 4, and this is actually the best one, and has been touched up even. So I guess Tubby and I have got some photo sessions to attend in the future. Then once I'm done with Tubby, we'll have to see what we can do with Peanut. :) :)

So do any of you have portraits of you with your sweeties? Ok, so not just portraits, but pics of you and the kitties. I know it's hard because I'm always the one taking the pic, and the self-timer thingy isn't too conducive to cat portraits. ;) :D

I don't really have many of me and Shiloh at all. And I have none with me and Skylar :eek: I'm scared of cameras!! :D

I will work on setting up the cam on a timer though so I can take one of me and the cats.... after I take a shower and wash my hair that is!

And I know what you mean Logan. Someone posted a thread a while back that made me realize I have no pics of me and T & P and this is when I finally got around to doing something about it.....only took at least 6 months to a year if I remember right...:rolleyes: :D

For our Christmas card last year, we took a picture with David, me, Noah, Noel and Basie...it was a huge ordeal! We had to bribe them with turkey and treats just to come to us so we could grab them for one of about thirty pictures.

Debbie, that's a great pic of both you and Tubby. :) I do have two professional pictures of me and both Storm and Pepper and one of me holding Storm. I also have some non-professional non-digital pics of me with Sunny, Storm, and Pepper. AmberLee took these when she came over for her first visit. :) I also prefer to be behind the camera taking pictures so that I'm not in them. :)

Here's a fairly old picture of me holding both Storm and Pepper. Storm was around 2 and Pepper was 1 at the time. Seconds after the picture was taken, Storm leapt from my arms. You can tell that neither one of them are very happy in this pic. :)

That's a wonderful picture Tracey! They both look bright eyed and bushy tailed, and it's cool that storm is standing. I never thought of having it professionally done....have to give that some thought....:)

Oh I love these pictures!! I think this is a great idea for a thread. I am going to be daring and post one of me with Andy here. I was trying to get him to pose for a picture a couple of months ago. With Andy you have a window of opportunity that lasts about one minute for a posed picture. This was taken right past that one minute deadline! LOL!

Oh I love this thread. I hate if someone is taking pictures of me but when there is a kitty I always look much more relaxed -I have noticed that with all of you too.

Barbara, I rememeber when you first posted that pic, and I love it! If I could get Tubby doing something like that with me, that would be great, but I'd be all bent over from the weight of him. ;) :rolleyes: :D

I'm glad I started a new project for everybody. Now I have to get a better one with Tubby, and Peanut should be no problem because she's not as feisty as Tubby and will sit better for me, but I think we all know how she hates cameras so we'll see what kind of look she has on her face. :D

And Delidog, Maggie is beautiful...but where are you? ;)

Great pics everyone! And I've gotten some great ideas for future pics. It seems the ones that turn out best are the ones where the cat is doing something naturally, and we just happen to position ourselves in the pic. So I'll have to see if I can throw my face next to Tubby's someday when he's on the back of the chair (one of his favorite spots) and snap a pic. That way it won't look like I'm trying to strangle him. :rolleyes: :D

And Sara, I love the one of you with your "niece and nephew" kitties! Even though it didn't turn out as a great portrait, it's a great picture showing how much fun you have with the kitties. :D

And it seems everyone has the problem that I have - we are the ones taking the pics, so how can we be in them. Maybe we'll have to have a roaming PT meeting where we go to each other's houses to snap pics of each other with their kitties. :D

Come on everybody! We don't care about weight or hair being done. We know you're all beautiful people because of your love for animals, so don't be shy about outward appearances. I wish I had some where I wasn't at my best to share because that would mean I have more than just one picture with my baby.

In my pic, I was renovating that day and just came out of the attic to play with Nakita! Plus I was hot and needed a break!Therefore, no contact lenses, no makeup, and my hair wasn't even done because I was doing manual labour!!

You'll need to take an IOU for my picture. I have a new one with the foster kittens that I am going to be scanning today. (remember, I use my dad's scanner, so I can't do it right now). I will post as soon as it is up.

I rarely get in the picture, and not because I don't want to, but because certain people ALWAYS take the shot when I am looking at my utter WORST!!! It takes Charlie so long to set up a picture that I end up talking or moving and then I have any number of completely ridiculous looks on my face. :rolleyes:

Thanks Barbara!! It took me forever to get that picture. Nakita didn't want to get her picture taken and she kept struggling to get away from me. Even in this pic, Nakita was almost out of the camera view!

I'm never going to try that again with such an active cat. I'm tired just thinking about doing that again!

Well juke joint joseph got his name as he got on two radio Shows , MEEEEOWING! This was achieved by holding up his Whiskas Temptations! And Moose The Magnificent is named as he is just that , a big Maine Coon.Michael was named after the Orange Tabby of Whats Michael , an excellent Japanese Comic Strip.Princes is a little Princess. Precious is a sweet Cat. Sam and Diane were named after the characters in Cheers.I would tell you more , but I am running out of time at the Library Computer!

pm your snail mail address. I have one of those disposable cameras that I got free, just laying around. I've been wondering what I'm going to do with it since it appears I've gone totally digital these days, so it's yours if you just pm me your address. That's how bad we need a Slick pic here on PT. ;) :D

Oh, and then we'll get some much needed update pics of Max and Specks too. And now don't give the excuse that you don't have a scanner because once you get the pics you can snail mail them to me and I'll scan them for you and send them back. There you go, how can you refuse that? ;) :D

Jen and T&P: you kill me. I'm laughing so hard I've got tears running down my face.:D :D :D I admit I wasn't expecting quite the response to my original posting.

And since I'm feeling quite pressured into this task, I guess I'll just have to go through my pics at home and see what I have. Bear in mind that I'm always the one behind the camera and rarely let people take my pic so chances are slim. If I find one I'll let you know. Yeah, this is one of those "Gotcha Pics". I just woke up and went into the kitchen to put the kettle on and Buddy wanted his usual morning greeting. Picked him up and got my morning kiss from him when my son said "Mom", I turned and CLICK. Notice Buds little tongue sticking out as he also got interrupted.:)
