Hi everybody. I'm concerned for my 3 1/2 year old orange tabby as it seem he has developed some kind of allergy. It started Saturday when he began sneezing, watery eyes and rubbing his little nose that became all red. Now, 2 days later, he is still sneezing and has mild watery eyes and isn't even waking me up in the morning for his breakfast ritual (but he IS eating and drinking water). Unfortunatley, i've recently moved and don't know any vets. To top it all off, he began sneezing the day after the bug-man came and treated the kitchen and bathroom. I feel like an awful mommy letting some pesticide in the house that has affected my Ian! Any advice? Thanks!

Well, sooner or later you are going to want a vet, so now is a good a time as any. Allergies are a possiblility but a URI ( a cold) is just as likely.

I totally agree, try to find a vet and get a jump on it. If it is a URI the quicker you start treatment the better.

Yep, now's a good time to find a vet, just to make sure it is just allergies or a cold, and not some nasty reaction to the bug spray. Welcome to PT and we hope to hear much much more about Ian. (that's my nephews name;) )
