Today I took a dog from animal control and transported him to a foster home in Palm Harbor. He's such a cutie. They are calling him a Walker Hound. I just loved his long floppy ears. I said they should name him Eyeore. Isn't he just beautiful? http://www.boomspeed.com/dukedogsmom/Eyoreresize.jpg
And here's Duke getting so excited because he got to go with me on the long ride. I taught him how to do what I call a "potty turn" before I take him outside to potty. Now he does it all the time any time he gets excited. Very cute. I caught him in mid-bark. I am loving my new camera!! http://www.boomspeed.com/dukedogsmom/pottyturn.jpg

Eeyore sounds like a great name for this fella! He is such a beauty! I hope he finds a forever home soon!! (And your own Duke is a cutie, too! :) )

Great pics! Thanks for sharing...More, please! I have to get myself a digital camera some day.
Eyeore is adorable. He won't have any problem being adopted, I'm sure.
How cute! What a neat trick, Duke! Killian is a rescue and when we got him, he had a trick similar to Duke's. When he has to go potty and no one pays attention to him, he spins in the air and barks. It is really funny. He doesn't do it often now because we always let him out as soon as he asks. It is something you can't ignore. LOL
Keep the pictures coming!

After the disturbing events of the past week, I think we all could use a little happy news on Pet Talk!! Thanks to Duke and Eyeore for putting a smile on MY face!:D Duke, you are so handsome; and talented too! My Star does that dance when she wants a cookie!:D And I'll bet you had great fun helping your Mom transport Eyeore to his foster home! What a guy:) Keep the happy updates and pics coming!!

Well, I'm certainly pleased to see another side of Duke;) . What a smart fellow he is. I personally would like to hear more about this *potty turn* thing. Is the purpose of it, as Sue described with Killian, a means of alerting you when he has to go? That sure would beat Tucker's scratching on my arm or Hannah's sharp barks in my hear. However any way of *asking* is better than *not asking*, so I guess I shouldn't complain.
How kind of you to do a transport and I know that Duke must have been appreciative of being able to accompany you. Long ago we had a Pet Talker here who would ask his dog if she wanted to *go fried* (go for a ride). It has since become our little announcement.
Eyeore is beautiful, but I don't know if he was aptly named. Looks like a pretty happy fellow to me. Tucker has more of the Eyeore look. Even though is a happy guy, most of his pictures look so sad. Good luck to him in his new foster home and thanks for getting him there. Good deed well done.
