allergies...or family??

my doctor reallly thinks i should get rid of my pets.. but they are a part of my family...
i have 7 cats (three kittens)
1 dog (german shepherd)
four ratties
and a mouse

i really dont want to loose my babies... i never had allergies until i was 12
they aren't horrible... they just make me sneeze... and..have watery eyes... and make my athsma act up... i also get hives.
i can't take allery pills... because they make me sick and if i start taking them... i cant get off them without having really bad problems...
is there any way that my allergies will go away?

You need to talk to an allergy doctor, not us.

There are many different kinds of allergy medications. Surely one will help. The doc can also give you tips on how to minimize your reactions. Some people get shots to deal with their allergies - it's a commitment, but it does help a lot of people I know.

Allergies can change over the course of one's lifetime, and no one quite knows why.
