I finally got a place of my own! :D

Now for my problem:

I'm renting and my place is right in front of my landlord's with no fences. I've decided to put a trolley thing in the front yard for Bull (landloard didn't like the idea of digging up the yard to put a pen out there). The thing is my landlord had chickens and roosters that sometimes tend to roam over into our yard. My concern is them attacking Bull cuz to put it bluntly he's a wimp and won't fight back. Bull won't ever be outside for long periods of time (just to potty or exercise) and the landlord has made it clear that his pets can go where they please so I doubt he's too concerned about Bull. (other than the fact he thinks Bull's gonna kill them)

Are you allowed to fence in the backyard?

Not sure. I ask if we could put up a little dog run type thing and he told me it would tear up the yard to bad he'd rather I didn't.

That's kind of dumb.

I don't understand why he would care about the lawn when your dog and his animals are at harm.

I'm not saying Bull would attack them but it could happen.

Andie, don't worry about the Chicken and Roosters coming after your Bull. I have 8 dogs 7 cats and about 70 to 80 chickens of all kinds. I have never seen any of my chickens go after any of my pets. I really don't think you will have a problem. I've got a rooster thats mean as h#$l, he goes after us,.....but never goes after the pets. I think they are smarter then that. Now if your landlord has a goose or duck...then worry.

Just watch them for a few day and I really think you'll see that it won't be a problem. Just don't feed Bull outside.....food they will go to, no matter what.
