Hi, guys! I've noticed that a lot of you have pictures in your sigs, and I was wondering how you did that...I'd love to have pics of my kitties in my sig, but I didn't see it in the options section. There's a place to cut and paste a written signature, but there's no option for browsing for files to attach. Anyway, I was just wondering. For now I'll post them to the group. Even got one of the hammie last night! Silly girl was out foraging for food and I got her, LOL....

Anyway, thanks in advance....

This is my 7-year old, Carmel.....she isn't too happy about having the younger kitty around, but she's coming around gradually, I think...this is her back in 97 or 98.....

I can make you a signature and tell you how to put it up if you wish. :) Your pets are SO adorable!

To put pics in your signature, you have to go to the 'place to cut and paste links' where you edit your profile (where it says signature), and paste this link:

Except without all of the spaces.

OMG, sorry Popcornbird, didn't realize you posted before me. :o :o
Well, you can still use the sig if you wish to. :)

Wow, guys, I'm touched that you would go to the trouble of making a sig for me! That is SO sweet! I'd love to use it, if I can figure out how LOL.....I'll let you know if I have any trouble. Thanks, Popcorn, for the offer....guess it wouldn't hurt to have a back-up sig, if you wouldn't mind. If not, that's OK, too.

Thanks again! My babies are all so cute in the sig! You did a wonderful job, and I really appreciate it....

Take care,
hamsterlover

OK, since I can't figure this out and I'm just wasting space on the site, I'm going to put this aside for now...but I appreciate your hard work, Floppsy!

Thanks again....

When you post, if you look down where it says Automatically parse URLs, Email Notification, etc. You will see "Show Signature." See if that is checked or not. I hope I don't sound dumb, it's just that that's what happened with my friend on PT. Her sig wouldn't appear in her posts because 'Show Signature' wasn't checked. :)

Anyway, if you can't get it, you can go to this thread (http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22069) and it may help you. :)

Do you want me to tell you how to insert it?

Go to www.imagestation.com, and make an account with them. (its free) :) After you did that, come back here and save the signature into a folderoron your desktop or something..Then, go back to imagestation, click "My Imagestation" at the top of the page, when it brings you to another page, click "upload images". Then find the signature where you put it. Then click upload image. It will bring you to a page where the signature is showing, in the op right hand corner, theres a button that says, "storage bin" click that and your signature will be trasported there. Then click on the signature picture and a new window should pop up. Right click on the picture, and click properies. Then what you want is the "URL" (address) copy it, and go back to where you can insert your signature in your profile. Paste it in, AND at the very beggining of it put NO SPACES and at the end of the address put . It should work then. :)

Sorry if it was too confusing! :o :)

You almost did it! Put in the front of the http sign with NO SPACES, then put at the end of the address. With NO SPACES :)
