My Sammy has been acting rather strange latley. He has been laying down to eat, with his paws tucked underneath him. Usually, he would sit on his backside, and lean over to the bowl, now he's laying down!
And he has always had a "thing" for boxes, no matter size, shape,
even the small shoe boxes from my kids shoes, he will immediatley run over to the box, scratch the whole bottom throughly, then squeeze his body into it, and lay in for a nap.
Since he loves them so much, I currently have a variety of about
10 boxes scattered around the living room and bedroom for him.
The problem is, he has now taken to napping INSIDE his litter box! I have even seen him peeing in it laying down, I never thought that was possible, but I seen him do it, since the litter boxes are in my bathroom! He will do his business, then take a nap in the litter box!
He is acting perfectly fine otherwise! He's eating, playing, acting silly, etc. Has anyone had their cats do this before? Do you suppose Sammy is just being a lazy kitty?
