I am interested to know if S is cold-natured, you said she liked to be behind the furnace, where it was 95 degrees, my siamese-mix, Frankie, is not yet 3, and is very cold-natured. I find him in the bathroom, on the bath mat, in the closet, or on a fleece jacket. He hates the air-conditioning, we call him a Florida Cat. he is perfectly healthy, just cold-natured.

Cats have a higher bady temp. than humans so like to sit in places we could not bear. I had a cat who used to sit on a furnace which I could'nt even touch. Her nickname was Miss Hot-Bot, and she lived 'til she was 19 so it obviously did her no harm.l
I realise that dispite my opposable thumbs, I'm just a cushion to my cats!

I don't know if she's cold-natured or not. But she loves that burner. She used to sit on the pipe coming directly out of it until the insulation got pulled off.
And in the winter she would sleep under the covers with me, until I developed a cat allergy, now they're not allowed in the bedroom.
But she goes outside in the winter too.
