150 collies need homes!

My mom just got a call from a Collie rescue here in BC. From what I understand, these collies came from a breeder in the states who was charged with animal cruelty. There are champion show dogs in all sorts of collies, coats etc. I thought I'd post here just in case anyone's interested. lol yep, if we get a collie it'll be rough for sure. I love grooming! Hahha I'm weird. It's not official yet though so I don't want to set my hopes up too high. My mom told us to decide on a color and sex. So far, we think we'll adopt a blue merle roughcoated female. We'll see though..

OOOOOOO, how pretty! I hope it turns out well! Hehe...you got your grooming cut out or you! If you do decide to get a female, its way less grooming. Females generally have shorter coats then males. Thats one of the reasons we decided to get a female. :)

Liana: Yes! I'm so excited! Collies are one of my favourite breeds and there's nothing better than knowing that you rescued a life.

Julie:Lol Hamlet is a cutie isn't he? I thought he looked really small for a collie and was maybe sheltie? I was judging on height and nose..but oh well. They haven't updated that site in ages. I'm sure hamlet has a nice home by now. Who wouldn't want such a cute boy?
