WOW!! Your kitties are just beautiful!! looking forward to seeing more!:D

O.K. I got a silly question, do you suppose the regular digital cameras work the same as the disposable ones? I have been buying the kodak disposable cameras, and with that, I have to get the photos put on a disk, and then downlaod the whole entire thing onto the computer, then choose the ones to post.
I have to pay for the regular prints, and pay extra for the disk.
I thought about getting a regular digital camera, but I don't know?

You don't pay anything extra with a regular digital camera. I got a deal (less than $70) for an HP from TigerDirect.com - they ALWAYS have deals. It was easy to set up and this one worked (very important!) The last one didn't like my OS. The camera hooks up to the PC via a USB cable and talks to the software. You don't have to download all the pics if you don't want to, just select the ones you really want to keep and then you can edit away at your heart's content, although I won't do much airbrushing for my two cuties.

I'm enjoying this! More pics later .... Off to a medical appt. (say prayers please - breast biopsy).

I'm not really sure, but I think those "disposable digital" cameras are not really digital at all. They just get processed with a disc. If you count the money you pay for the camera, then the cost of the developing....in my opinion, put that cost towards the cost of a real digital camera and you'll be much further ahead. If money is an issue, do like Redhedd did and go to Tigerdirect.com (I've never been there so can't endorse them myself) or I would think you might be able to find some deals on ebay.

Redhedd, your kitties are beautiful! I'm so glad you got a camera to work so now we can see them all the time. ;) :)

Your sweeties are just gorgeous!! :) I REALLY like Mishi...he reminds me of my Noah.

Good luck in your appointment today. Let us know how everything went.

Take care.

I'm home, resting and on ice. It went well, although it hurts right now. Mishi could really use one of Edwina's hats -- a little kitty nursie hate would be perfect! :D

RedHedd, I am very glad your appointment went well today.
I'll be sending prayers your way.

Thank you Redhedd, and Tubby&Peanuts Mom, for the digital camera advice, I think it would certainly be more practical, and less expensive to just buy the camera.
I think the disposible one's are just a rip-off. Right on the package, it says FREE cd, yet last time I still got charged 7 dollars for it-plus $11 for regualr prints!
I am awating a pick up tommorow of new kitty prints. I hope they don't charge me crazy again!
Those disposable ones "lured" me right in. I thought-oh great, now I can post my kitties on PT. I will have to find me a "real digi-cam"! :)

Beware of cameras by Ezonics. I know they are reasonable (cheap?) in price, but the ULead software I've come to call U-Suck software as there is NO uninstaller and it's messed up my computer. I tried two of their cameras and returned both of them; now I'm stuck with the software and their tech support can't figure out how to get rid of it from my system!

Thanks for the warning about that digi-cam! I would throw a fit, if it ruined my computer! I never even thought of that!
I know this is totally off the subject, cause originally, I was drooling over your gorgeous kitties!:D
Any way, I had mentioned about the kodak disposable, and I was waiting for them to come in so I could post new pics of my furkids,
today is Sammy's birthday, and I have party pics, and last night, my daughter was trying to post them, and it wasn't working!
I will have to buy a REAL digi-cam!
