:) I think the smell of dogsˇ¦ mouths is really stinking.
Yet, I do enjoy that he gives licks on me. AhˇK.
Someone said that the problem can be improved by buying a toothbrush for the dog to brush his teeth after his finishing meals.
However, it seems that the method could merely prevent decayed teeth.
For instance, the major cause of human mouth cavityˇ¦s stinking smell is the coating on the tongue.
Then, how about dogs?
I appreciate any method to keep my dogˇ¦s mouth fragrant^^

How old is your dog? How bad are the teeth right now? If the teeth are already pretty bad, I'd recommend getting them cleaned by a vet, then continue to brush them at least 2-3 times a week after. They also make breath mints for dogs.

I'd also reccomend brushing.

Dies she have alot of things to chew on? Have you tried special minty treats?

Giving your dog parsley every day will help alot. You can make a nice salad of it. Just don't add lettuce or your dog might throw it up. :)

I think brushing would help considerably in the stinky breath. Even though it might help only a little bit because the tongue does need to be cleaned also...cleaning the teeth would help more than you think. I've started brushing kai's daily and not only is the plaque going away...he has a fresher breath. Greenies do wonders! I'd invest in them..they're well worth it and the dogs seem to love them. Also, like wolf_q said, if it's really bad...try the vets. Also, the idea that wolfsoul suggested would help I think...I've been giving Kai spinach and parsley with his meals everyday for a few days now and his breath is SOOO much better.

I go with Greenies and no wet food, the wet food coats everything in their mouth and it gets smelly! Also, some smaller pet stores have tasty mints for the dogs too!

Penny Lanes breath was really stinky when I first adopted her so I had her teeth cleaned by the vet when she got spayed. She also had two teeth that were in pretty bad shape, so they were pulled. She now had very sweet smelling breath!:) I am now brushing them 2X a week.

Leo I adopted when he was 8mos and I brush his teeth twice a week - his breath has always been good.

I also give them greenies, not really for their breath which is fine but because they are healthy treats and they love them!!
