Dongdi is a beautiful dog. I've never seen a Husky with bronze coloring before and it is really striking! Congrats to Dongdi and his family on being Dog of the Day and I hope you all have many happy years together ahead!:)

Yes, Dongdi, you certainly are one stunning "angel of the snow!" I love all Huskies, but have a special fondness for you bronze babies!:) My Cody is half red Husky! And aren't you the smart one! Cool:cool: that such a shy & quite pup has come out from his shell to display a sparkling personality. KatMa is :D :D because you say "arrrwoooo" and do the stare-down when Dennis tries to be "boss". Halloween is a big deal for my KatMa and I had to get used to all the freaky decorations, pranks, kids, etc too. But after 8 years of this, I'm not a fraidy-cat about it anymore.

Donqdi, you are so beautiful!! I love huskies. I have heard that huskies have a certain dialect though I've never heard it myself. I think it's cute that you go tattling to your mom just like a little kid. You made a great DOTD! :D

Thanks, people. For paying attention to my little guy. I must say that this little guy is a bundle of joy and nuisance too. :p Right now he is going to be 2 years old by june 29th! In the photo, he is only 5 months old because that's the best photo I think I have on him. Now he is fully grown and not so small anymore, but I'll make sure that he knows I am the boss to him. However, he is observant enough to know that there's my parents above me and he consider my mom and dad are the "Alphas". Despite he is quite rebellous from time to time.

I also need some help here. Dongdi had hot spot on the root of his tail early this year and the vet hast that patch and some other parts shaved away. Most of the shaved fur grows back except for the root of his fluffy tail. Any advices? Could it be due to the fact he is shedding right now?

Does he still have a scab there? That might be why the fur isn't coming back yet....or is there scar tissue?
