They seem so extra affectionate lately :) So, i go and check if they are being extra friendly b/c their food bowl is empty and they are trying to tell me something...and nope, they are just being sooo very sweet :) I hope my Mocha is nice to them. I am sure at first they will be scared of her (actually not scared, just inquisitive)...im pretty sure they will all adjust well...i am glad i have the 2 of them...so they have each other, while they adjust to the new puppy :) I know it sounds sappy, but i just had to share how much i love my kitties :)

Toby is like that now as well .. he's always coming up to me meowing and jumps in my arms for scritchies... especially bedtime - he gets very affectionate then! Its so sweet :D

Isn't that sweet? Here it's the same -of course they'll be very friendly when their bowl is empty but there are also these moments in which they just tell you: "I love you so much, meowmie. I wanna be close to you." And that's a sure method to melt my heart:)

Hello There:
Cats can be very sweet. I now have a black/white female, who, when she was a kitten, jumped in my lap constantly. She became pregnant during the summer and that seemed to change her mood temporarily. She usually jumps in my lap but for some reason, today did not.
I like your dog also, but I have never owned a dog. How is his personality? I have had other people's dogs love me.
Have your ever owned a pet who was not very affectionate?
I own a blue pt. Siamese who never jumps in my lap, and he is rarely affectionate with me. I would like to take him to a pet behaviorist, but there is none where I live.
Do you know of any pet behaviorists on the Web? I need help with him and am tempted to give him away. But I think no one who want him because of his personality.
Better go now.

My sweet little Edwina. My husband was out of town last night. During the night she came up to me in the bed. I knew what she wanted. I lifted the covers and she snuggled in my arms! It was too warm for both of us so it didn't last long but it was sweet while it did!

Awww...Edwina the little cuddle bug. :D
Tubby has gotten in the habit that when it's bedtime, he must come under the covers. If I'm really tired and would rather go to sleep than snuggle for a bit, he comes up by my head and starts pawing at the blankets, telling me I must lift them so he can come under. He then walks in, sniffs a bit, then turns around and half lays on me and purrs up a storm. Sometimes I fall asleep before he leaves and sometimes not. Sometimes he stays just forever, and other times after only a few minutes he's ready to go. It has gotten to the point that he will not let me fall asleep without our little snuggle session.
Sometimes it's funny because Peanut will jump up and lay on top of me and I have to wonder if she knows that he's under the covers too. She must know because I'm sure she can hear him - I'm surprised half the neighborhood can't hear him - but she makes no indication that she knows he's there. So I've got her on top the covers and him under the covers. I love falling asleep like that. :D Althought I have to admit that yes, it does get a bit warm sometimes. ;) :D

This is what I was hoping Eddie would do!

All these cute snuggling kitties! Our Samantha usually sleeps on the bed. She sleeps at the bottom cuddled into my legs, or in between us about halfway up. Daisy won't go anywhere else except right under my chin. Since Daisy has an extremely loud purr, this can make sleeping difficult. Neither of them will snuggle under the covers though. I'd love that!
